Director's Message 

Welcome to our home on the world-wide web.  You are visitor number to the site since December 12, 2001.  We are so glad that you have taken the time to learn more about the Boston Community Choir and the music that we sing.  Gospel music, a pillar of Americana, continues to grow in its popularity both here and abroad.  From its humble roots to today's highly stylized iterations, it has captured the attention of many of the world's greatest musicians.  However, I believe that the real beauty and magic of gospel music lies in its ability to comfort in times of sorrow; strengthen in times of weakness; celebrate in times of joy; and minister in times of spiritual need.  These messages are precisely what the Boston Community Choir tries to impart through its repertoire and performances.  We share them and hope that each person will experience the love that we have for each other and for the music.  Moreover, we know that there is a message for everyone.  Please enjoy your visit to our web site and feel free to share your thoughts or questions with us on the Contact page.  If you are interested in singing with the choir, please fill out the form on the "Joining BCC" page.  If you would like to find out about our upcoming events, check out our "Performances" page.  I also encourage you to visit the sites on our links page.  We thank you for your support and may God bless you.
